Ruth Staley

I was born and raised in Southern England. While travelling to the Island for a diving holiday I decided to immigrate to Vancouver Island, arriving in 1992.

After a number of years on the Island while continuing my successful career in the recruiting industry, I met my husband and moved to Calgary to help build his Recruiting Business. When there I spent time raising our family and opened a horse boarding facility which enabled me to follow my passion of rescuing animals, including racehorses off the track.

Making the decision to give up the big city life in 2004, we followed our dream to return to Nanoose for a new lifestyle, and raising our daughter in the safety and natural beauty of Vancouver Island.

Since arriving we have enjoyed many hours of kayaking and boating in the local waters as well as walking our dogs and enjoying the outdoors. While continuing my passion for rescuing animals we have recently become involved with the Northwest Canadian Greyhound League and have fostered a number of greyhounds who have retired from the racetrack. As our daughter is completing her high school education it is now time for me to start fulfilling my long term career goal of Real Estate, and join my husband in his successful Real Estate business.

“I feel that buying and selling a home is a major decision. Whether it is your 1st home, a recreational property, a retirement home or anything in-between, it signifies a new chapter in your life. I am excited by the opportunity of guiding you through the process, ensuring it is an enjoyable experience. We are proud to be working together as a Professional Real Estate couple. We look forward to assisting our current and new friends with their real estate requirements”.
